Dr. Ava Parakhoodi earned her doctorate of dental medicine from the prestigious Ivy-league institution the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ava Parakhoodi in Hunt Valley, MD, has invested helping her patients achieve the healthy, beautiful smiles that give them the confidence they need to reach their full potential. By restoring smiles, she helps her patients restore their lives and to stop hiding behind broken, stained, and crooked teeth.
She continued her education with advanced training in the General Dentistry program at Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine and later Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where she expanded her expertise in the most modern concepts in dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, implant dentistry, and endodontics. Dr. Parakhoodi devoted much of her time to ongoing education in the most modern concepts in dentistry to provide the highest quality of patient care. Her practice is highly respected with a commitment to superior quality dentistry and outstanding customer service in an advanced state-of-the-art setting .She believes the opportunity to be part of the transformation in restoring someone's smile is absolutely one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry.
Dr. Parakhoodi is an expert in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and reconstructive dentistry. She and her highly-trained team whiten, reshape, and repair broken, crooked, and unsightly teeth with porcelain veneers, implants, crowns, bridges, and tooth-whitening products. Dr. Wendy Burstein
Dr. Wendy Burstein is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. A Baltimore native, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from George Washington University. She then pursued her dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. Dr. Burstein completed a three-year post-doctoral program at the same institution, obtaining her specialty degree in Periodontics and a Master's in Oral Biology.
Dr. Burstein specializes in periodontal therapy, treatment of periodontal disease, guided bone regeneration, and dental implants. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal oral health in a warm and compassionate environment. Outside of her practice, she is a wife and mother to two daughters.
